The E-Commerce Metro ASM supervises the activities of the local metro E-Commerce department. This role is cross-trained in all areas and serves as the primary point of contact in the E-Commerce Manager’s absence. Responsibilities include managing multiple store accounts, handling a greater volume of production and sales, supervising multiple direct reports, and potentially overseeing multiple departments (e.g., EBooks). The role involves enhanced Inventory Management, preparation and delivery of training memos, reports, and forms. Effective communication with Goodwill store staff and management is essential. The position acts as a resource for information, guidance, and tools. Given the dynamic nature of online sites, this position requires responsiveness to changing circumstances, initiative, and the ability to shift between assignments as priorities change. Responsibilities include facilitating the orientation of new technicians, observing performance, communicating expectations, and visiting or communicating with Retail Stores weekly to resolve issues. The role involves reviewing performance data (financial, sales, activity reports) to monitor productivity and goal achievement, as well as monitoring supplies, managing inventory levels, and planning for expenses within budget. Key areas of responsibility include Financial Production, Inventory Management, Website Monitoring, Customer Service, and Shipping Reports.
