About The Position

Loyola Medicine is seeking a Dynamic Scheduler to schedule patient appointments according to orders, urgency of care, and patient convenience, including across multiple sites when appropriate. The role monitors physicians’ schedules daily to optimize them, uses insurance-verification procedures to support maximum reimbursement and correct payment, and manages a high volume of telephone calls efficiently and effectively. The scheduler uses clinical, registration, and scheduling software, learns new systems as needed, and provides telephone customer service while maintaining a 95% customer telephone-skills rating.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent training acquired through work experience or education.
Minimum of 3 years of previous job-related experience.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training acquired through work experience or education.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Representative, highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of training in a general administrative, business, healthcare, or related field.
