About The Position

Presque Isle Downs & Casino is seeking a Dual Rate Slot Supervisor/Shift Manager to join their Slot Operations team. This role involves leading and supporting the Slots team during a shift, delivering top-tier customer service, overseeing staffing, ensuring regulatory compliance, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining the smooth operation of the casino floor with integrity and attention to detail. The position requires familiarity with slot machine operations and self-serve sports wagering kiosks, monitoring sportsbook programming, and ensuring accurate jackpot transactions.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to effectively coach and counsel employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Intermediate PC skills.
• Microsoft Office experience required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Confidentiality and gaming experience is a must.
• The employee will be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Employee must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Employee must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication.
• This job requires strong vision skills, including close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise slot operations on shift while maintaining the highest standard of customer service, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Enforce all company and departmental policies, service standards, and PGCB regulations.
• Maintain proper staffing levels throughout the shift and make adjustments as needed.
• Handle customer complaints and disputes.
• Complete necessary paperwork associated with the daily functions of the slot department, including shift reports, ATE slips, and corrective actions.
• Be familiar with and have a working knowledge of the operations and paytables of slot machines and self-serve sports wagering kiosks.
• Monitor sportsbook video programming and make adjustments as necessary to maintain adequate sports coverage.
• Ensure all jackpot transactions are completed accurately, and jackpot slips and payment procedures comply with departmental internal controls and are completed within a reasonable amount of time.
• Assist on the casino floor with patron calls and questions when possible.
• Ensure all vacant, non-fixed slot seating is appropriately tucked in and aisle ways are maintained.
• May issue a complimentary/promotional expense in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
• Monitor staffing levels and make adjustments as needed; coach and counsel employees; enforce all rules, service standards, policies and PGCB regulations.
