About The Position

This position is a full-time role with a salary range of $18.19 - $18.19 per hour, categorized under Gaming Operations. The role encompasses both Slot Attendant and Slot Shift Supervisor responsibilities. As a Slot Shift Supervisor, the primary focus is on training and supervising Slot Attendants, handling guest service issues, ensuring adherence to personnel policies, responding professionally to guests and departments, verifying report accuracy, submitting daily reports, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, and performing other duties as directed. As a Slot Attendant, the role involves providing outstanding guest service on the casino floor, attending to guest needs, performing minor technical repairs on slot machines, generating tickets for jackpots and short pays, monitoring slot machine functions, ensuring assigned areas operate correctly, complying with gaming regulations, exchanging currency, safeguarding company assets, signing up Platinum Players Club members, maintaining a clean and safe work area, identifying process improvements, understanding machine types and locations, and establishing effective working relationships. The position requires understanding and upholding company policies, procedures, core values, and the Mission Statement.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 21 years old to apply.
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • One year related experience.
  • Computer skills – Keyboarding efficient for report writing and emailing purposes.
  • Excellent guest skills.
  • Ability to understand and comply with all departmental rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Must be familiar with machine types and locations.

Responsibilities

  • Training and supervising Slot Attendants.
  • Dealing with guest service problems, complaints, and requests.
  • Adhering to personnel policies and procedures.
  • Responding in a professional manner in dealing with customers and all departments.
  • Assuring accuracy of reports to Controller and Soft Count.
  • Submitting daily reports of drop exceptions and/or incidents to the Controller.
  • Reporting all accidents and/or unsafe conditions to Slot Management and Guest Safety.
  • Providing outstanding guest service on the casino floor and attending to the needs of our guests.
  • Repairing small technical problems with the slot machines.
  • Generating tickets for jackpots and short pays.
  • Providing minor slot machine maintenance.
  • Monitoring slot machine candles to maintain optimum machine function and service.
  • Assuring that all phases of the assigned area are functioning properly.
  • Complying with all gaming regulations.
  • Exchanging currency for currency/coin.
  • Safeguarding the assets of the company.
  • Responsible for Platinum Players Club signups and customer instructions.
  • Keeping work area neat, clean, and safe for internal and external guests.
  • Continuously looking for ways to change processes in order to improve the bottom line and/or guest service.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with teammates and guests.
  • Understanding and complying with all departmental rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
