About The Position

The Dual Rate Poker - Brush/Supervisor must be able to deal poker and supervise poker dealers. The role requires a sound knowledge of table procedures, customer service, general information and comps, and poker-room procedures such as fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play, and irregularities. The position also requires thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, Title 31, and Louisiana Gaming Regulations. The employee carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time, with or without notice.

Requirements

• Experience dealing poker or graduation from a certified dealing school.
• Ability to comprehend and carry out policies and procedures.
• Good, sound knowledge of table procedures.
• Excellent customer service knowledge.
• Knowledge of general information and comps, including dinners, concerts, and entertainment.
• Knowledge of procedures involving fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play, and irregularities.
• Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, Title 31, and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills to supervise poker dealers.

Responsibilities

• Deal poker.
• Understand and follow policies and procedures set forth in Internal Controls and manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Attend continued training sessions.
• Know table procedures, general information, and comps, including dinners, concerts, and entertainment.
• Know procedures for fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play, and irregularities.
• Supervise poker dealers.
• Train employees, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems.
