About The Position

The Dual Rate Poker - Brush/Supervisor deals poker and supervises employees in the Poker Room. The role requires knowledge of table procedures, casino operations, Internal Controls, Title 31, and Louisiana Gaming Regulations, along with strong customer service and leadership skills. The position includes training and supervising poker dealers and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Requirements

• Experience dealing poker or graduation from a certified dealing school.
• Ability to comprehend and carry out policies and procedures in Internal Controls and manuals.
• Good, sound knowledge of table procedures.
• Knowledge of general customer information and comps, including dinners, concerts, and entertainment.
• Knowledge of procedures for fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play, and irregularities.
• Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, Title 31, and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills to supervise poker dealers.

Responsibilities

• Deal poker.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Attend continued training sessions.
• Apply knowledge of table procedures, fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play, and irregularities.
• Provide customers with general information and information about comps, including dinners, concerts, and entertainment.
• Follow Internal Controls, Title 31, Louisiana Gaming Regulations, policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Supervise poker dealers and employees in the Poker Room.
• Train employees, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
