As a key member of the leadership team, the Dual Director of Sales is accountable for the revenue generation of two properties. Reporting to the General Manager, the Dual Director of Sales is responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to lead the properties to achieve their business goals while embracing the McKibbon Guiding Principles. The Dual Director of Sales will be responsible for the overall sales and revenue of two properties. This role involves coordinating and delegating all group, transient and meeting/catering sales solicitations and bookings amongst sales team members to maximize overall revenue and efficiency. The position also includes training sales associates on the sales process to maximize revenues, and implementing and training associates on all McKibbon procedures related to sales, systems, and processes. The role requires maintaining compliance and staying updated on new sales initiatives for the brand and company, actively critiquing STR reports, and reporting on the End of Month Report. Continuous monitoring of market trends to anticipate revenue opportunities and implement proactive strategies is essential. The Dual Director of Sales will track the performance of all key accounts, analyze market trends, and actively support the operations team as it relates to sales items. Maintaining positive, professional relationships with McKibbon, property owners, and clients, and engaging in local community and industry organizations to maintain visibility as a McKibbon leader are also key responsibilities. The role involves maintaining sales accountability through documentation of sales procedures, including training, coaching, counseling, and progressive discipline when necessary. Conducting timely and detailed annual performance reviews for sales team members, recognizing team members' strengths, creating opportunities for growth, and promptly addressing team member errors with supportive guidance are crucial. Boosting sales team morale through team-building activities is also part of the role. Daily use of Delphi Standard or Delphi Advanced (FDC) is required, with team accountability for proper use of Delphi and other electronic tools for sales documentation and research. The Dual Director of Sales will be the lead team member for recruiting and hiring sales team members and will support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations. Participation in weekly revenue management calls and facilitating sales strategy calls with hotel and regional team members as requested are expected. Development, execution, and documentation of strategic business plans, collaboration in building strategic annual budgets, and collaboration in the strategy, preparation, and delivery of market updates for owner calls and meetings are also key functions. The role includes leading daily sales stand-ups with sales team members and leading weekly sales meetings with sales and operations leaders.
