About The Position

Neuron Health Systems is a community-based provider of acute outpatient rehabilitation and medical and non-medical direct care. We deliver individualized, family-centered support - partnering with families and caregivers and applying an interdisciplinary approach so every patient can reach their fullest potential. We're looking for a DSP Supervisor to lead and support our team of Direct Support Professionals. This is a hybrid role that combines real hands-on presence with our caregivers and genuine administrative ownership, making sure every DSP is trained, confident, and set up to provide great care. Every DSP on our team deserves a supervisor who genuinely understands the work they do, not someone checking boxes from a distance. This role exists to make sure training turns into real, confident, person-centered care, every day.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of direct care experience.
• At least one year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Comfortable coordinating training and deadlines across a full team, not just yourself.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain one promptly.
• Ability to pass all required background checks.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working with staff and families alike.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of our Direct Support Professionals across active cases.
• Complete the same training our DSPs complete, so you can mentor from real knowledge, not just a checklist.
• Coordinate the time and schedule for DSPs to complete required training.
• Track and confirm training completion, and help troubleshoot if anyone falls behind.
• Mentor DSPs to help turn training into confident, everyday practice.
• Conduct performance evaluations for your team.
• Coordinate scheduling and shift coverage so there are never gaps in client care.
• Maintain accurate documentation consistent with our internal standards.
