About The Position

Saint Joe's is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Supervisor for its Saint Joe's Residential Program in Spring Grove, Ohio. The supervisor leads and supports staff while providing person-centered care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The role focuses on helping residents build daily living skills, follow routines, and pursue personal goals while maintaining a safe, supportive, home-like environment. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM; and on-call duty every other weekend. The supervisor also supports scheduling, staff orientation, performance evaluations, documentation, and compliance with agency policies.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in the developmental disability field.
Have at least 1 year of leadership experience.
Hold a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points and provide proof of insurance.
Be willing to drive agency vehicles.
Be able to pass a knowledge and skills assessment.
Obtain CPR/First Aid certification; training is provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals in a residential setting.
Lead, mentor, and train DSPs, Leads, and volunteers.
Assist with scheduling, staff orientation, and performance evaluations.
Ensure all DSP duties are completed accurately and on time.
Delegate tasks and maintain smooth operations during the shift.
Support residents with daily living skills, routines, and personal goals.
Maintain documentation and uphold agency policies.
Promote a safe, supportive, and home-like environment.
