About The Position

Saint Joe's is seeking a DSP Supervisor for its Saint Joe's Residential Program in Spring Grove, Ohio. The role leads and supports staff while providing compassionate, person-centered care to residents with developmental disabilities. The supervisor mentors and trains DSPs, Leads, and volunteers; helps coordinate staffing and staff development; ensures duties and documentation are completed accurately; and maintains a safe, supportive, home-like environment. The position is full-time, with a consistent schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM; and on-call duty every other weekend.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in the developmental disability field.
• Have at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Have a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points and proof of insurance.
• Be willing to drive agency vehicles.
• Pass a knowledge and skills assessment.
• Obtain CPR/First Aid; this is provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals in a residential setting.
• Lead, mentor, and train DSPs, Leads, and volunteers.
• Assist with scheduling, staff orientation, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure all DSP duties are completed accurately and on time.
• Delegate tasks and maintain smooth operations during the shift.
• Support residents with daily living skills, routines, and personal goals.
• Maintain documentation and uphold agency policies.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and home-like environment.
