Monitors and supports the work of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), schedules and delegates work, and provides personal care services. This role also participates in the implementation of program/treatment plans for individuals served by the program. The DSP Supervisor directly supervises up to 10 employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities under the direction of the Direct Support Professional Manager, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
