Doubletree Albuquerque - Driver
About The Position
The Driver transports hotel guests to their destinations on scheduled runs and provides luggage and other guest assistance. The role also supports concierge and guest-services activities by sharing information about local attractions, events, and transportation, providing maps and directions, and helping with guest requests. The Driver is expected to keep the van clean, maintain a professional appearance, follow company policies and safety standards, and contribute to a welcoming and efficient hotel environment. The position is at Doubletree Albuquerque, located near downtown Albuquerque and connected to the Albuquerque Convention Center. The property offers associates a breakroom, secure lockers, a hot meal each shift, free parking, recognition events, and team-building celebrations. Eligible full-time hires may receive the described benefits after an initial waiting period.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required.
- At least one year of driving experience.
- Strong communication skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

- Hotel or related experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and team members warmly and professionally.
- Follow uniform and grooming standards and maintain reliable attendance.
- Load and unload luggage; assist guests with check-ins and check-outs; escort guests to rooms; open and close cab doors; and deliver messages, packages, or flowers as needed.
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, and transportation options, and provide guests with maps and directions.
- Keep the lobby reader board and entrance area clean and welcoming.
- Keep the van clean inside and out and transport guests on scheduled runs.
- Showcase hotel rooms and amenities when requested.
- Support guest services by answering the console, assisting with room changes, and performing other duties as needed.
- Follow company policies and safety standards.
