VA Driver -Baton Rouge
About The Position
Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Driver in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The position pays $10.50 per hour and reports to 9292 General Chennault Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70807. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The Driver transports vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and on time while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The posting also describes this as a full-time seasonal role. Enterprise Mobility provides mobility services through brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. Its services include car rentals, carsharing, truck rentals, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
- Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, using written directions as needed.
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area, following rules of the road.
- Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to appropriate destinations.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
- Communicate by two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
- Clean vehicles and/or keep buses clean during a shift when asked.
- Assist customers with directions, vehicle options, and basic policies or procedures when asked.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading luggage, entering and exiting vehicles, and other miscellaneous needs when asked.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
