About The Position

The CDL Route Delivery Driver delivers and rotates product and collects required payment while providing a high level of customer service and developing customer relationships in the assigned market. The role completes account paperwork and reconciles it at the end of the day, performs daily vehicle pre-trip inspections, and follows all safety policies and procedures. The driver also maintains effective communication and relationships across departments, builds business when opportunities arise, and supports Crescent Crown’s vision. The position reports to work regularly and on time, and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Extended hours may be required to meet service needs. Applicants may be subject to pre-employment background, driving-record, DOT safety-performance, drug/alcohol-history, employment and education verification, and reference checks, as well as post-offer physical examination and drug/alcohol screening, in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Maintain a clear driving record and hold a Class A CDL.
• Maintain a valid medical certificate in accordance with MCSR regulations, 49 CFR 391.41–391.49.
• Professionalism, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify errors in load sheets and paperwork.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to work effectively, individually and as part of a team, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and ethical conduct.
• Commitment to the safety program and dedication to the company’s vision and mission.
• Ability to handle stress.
• Ability to drive a truck for product deliveries.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, walk, and occasionally climb while unloading trucks.
• Ability to regularly lift or carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally push or pull up to 340 pounds.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, or carry product and maneuver a dolly effectively.
