About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time driver in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The position pays $10.50 per hour and reports to 9292 General Chennault Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70807. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The role is identified in the description as seasonal.

The driver transports fleet cars and vans between rental locations and may deliver customers, employees, or vendors to destinations safely and on time. The position involves following written directions, organizing travel routes, and providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. Drivers may also assist customers with directions, vehicle options, basic policies and procedures, luggage, and other needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Must have no drug- or alcohol-related convictions on the driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require current or future work authorization sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations.
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destinations safely and courteously.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate by two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
• Clean vehicles and/or keep the bus clean during the shift when asked.
• Assist customers with directions, car options, and basic policies and procedures when asked.
• Help customers load or unload luggage, enter or exit vehicles, and with miscellaneous needs when asked.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
