Backlot Driver - Traffic

About The Position
The Driver verifies and signs shipments, parks trucks and chassis, checks in chassis, and drives units to be weighed. The role requires working independently with minimal supervision and within a team while following PPS initiatives for waste reduction and continuous improvement. The driver must follow all safety regulations and be able to work outside in the elements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current chauffeur’s license and valid driver’s license.
- Good verbal and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control measures.
- Ability to work outside in the elements.
Responsibilities
- Verify and sign shipments for chassis.
- Park trucks and chassis.
- Check in chassis.
- Drive units to be weighed.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Follow PPS initiatives in waste reduction and continuous improvement.
- Follow all safety regulations to meet required standards.
