About The Position

Drivers may live anywhere; transportation from Anchorage to the site is provided. DML provides logistics services to the mine, including ore concentrate hauling, freight transportation, and fuel transport operations. Drivers work rotating schedules at a remote camp, with rotations of up to four weeks and shifts typically lasting 12 hours. Room, board, and an on-site gym are provided at no cost while on location, as is transportation between Anchorage and the site. Work takes place in extreme weather and industrial conditions, with exposure to vibration, noise, moving equipment, and hazardous materials. Shifts may vary with operational needs and are subject to Alaska state overtime. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Benefits include discretionary quarterly and annual service bonuses, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Flexible Spending Account, a 401(k) with employer matching and an additional annual retirement contribution, life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, long-term disability coverage, annual wage reviews, advancement opportunities, and tuition reimbursement. A successful background check and drug test are required. Hiring preference is given to NANA shareholders, their spouses, and descendants. Acceptance and respect for a culturally diverse workforce is required and enforced.
