About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe is hiring a temporary hourly driver to support its Lake Tahoe Campus in Incline Village. The driver will transport nursing students from campus to clinical sites and other educational or community locations throughout the region using university-owned Sprinter vans. The anticipated start date is January 2027. The schedule is 16–24 hours per week, and compensation is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, commensurate with related experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Complete university defensive driving training.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport nursing students to clinical sites and other educational or community locations throughout the region.
• Ensure passenger safety and follow traffic laws and university policies.
• Conduct basic vehicle safety checks.
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns.
• Provide reliable transportation for clinical rotations and special events.
