About The Position

The Driver is responsible for delivering goods safely and on time to predetermined customers along assigned routes. The role includes checking orders before delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing excellent customer service. Drivers must follow assigned schedules and routes, comply with transportation laws and DOT regulations, maintain a safe driving record, and complete delivery-related reports and documents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Medical DOT Card.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses safely and on time.
• Check orders to ensure they are complete, charges are correct, and customers are satisfied.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accept payments on occasion.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record, including using E-logs when required.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Obtain the customer's signature for deliveries and note on the invoice any products that were not on the truck, were damaged, or were refused.
