About The Position

Independence Home Health LLC is hiring a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in the Columbus, Indiana area. The role provides personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities to help the client remain comfortable and independent at home. The schedule is seven days a week, Monday through Sunday, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, for four hours per day.

Its approach integrates services into the home and supports collaborative care planning that includes the individual and, when applicable, their family.

Requirements

• Be compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to pass required background screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred; willingness to learn is important.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Document care provided and communicate concerns to the office.
