Stigler Area Caregiver
About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring and compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home services to a client in the local Stigler area. Caregivers help patients remain safe and independent in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, errands, transportation, and companionship. Prior experience is not required. The employer provides paid in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is $11.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience. The position offers flexible scheduling and daily pay, with payment available the day after working.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check in accordance with state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal preparation areas, and helping the patient eat as needed.
- Assist with personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat if needed.
- Run errands, including grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
- Assist with shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
- Provide companionship.
- Arrive on time and be reliable and dependable, with rare absences.
