About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide services to a client in the local area. Caregivers help patients remain safely and independently in their own homes. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid, in-office initial training and ongoing training. The role offers flexible scheduling and compensation based on certifications and experience. Daily Pay is available, allowing employees to get paid the day after working. The position involves supporting clients with personal care, activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and companionship. Caregivers must protect patient confidentiality and be reliable and punctual. This is an independently owned franchise; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the local franchisee.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
Assist with meal preparation and serving, clean meal preparation areas, and help clients eat as needed and applicable.
Provide personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Perform housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry; perform laundry tasks at a laundromat if needed.
Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
Assist clients with telehealth visits.
Provide companionship.
Be reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent from work.
