About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to help patients remain independent and safe in their own homes. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid, in-office training, and pay is based on certifications and experience. Scheduling is flexible, and the company offers Daily Pay, allowing employees to receive pay the day after working.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check as required by state regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal-preparation areas, and helping patients eat as needed and applicable.
- Provide personal care, including tub, shower, or bed baths; dressing; grooming; denture care; and skin care.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Perform laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry; use a laundromat if needed.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, and going to the post office.
- Be reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent from work.
