About The Position

The Driver/Warehouse Associate supports branch operations by making safe, timely deliveries of automotive glass and assisting customers with will-call pickups. The position also performs general warehouse work, including handling and inspecting inventory, preparing orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining an orderly work area. The role provides prompt, courteous customer service and helps maintain the branch’s service standards.

Requirements

Pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Safely and competently operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pickers.
Have 3–5 years of driving and delivery experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Be organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environments.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and take direction in changing work conditions.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and move objects using up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
Ability to handle glass with sufficient finger grip strength.
Close visual acuity, including viewing computer terminals or mobile devices and inspecting small defects and parts.
Ability to perceive sounds at normal speaking levels and make fine discriminations in sound.
Ability to remain stationary and/or upright for prolonged periods, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch during an 8–10-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Unload inventory from incoming vehicles and inspect it for damage.
Process and stock inventory.
Pick the correct products and quantities for orders.
Load glass racks and trucks; clean glass and assess stock for damage.
Affix proper labels to glass.
Follow delivery routes and schedules to deliver products and receive returns on time.
Process and record payments and enter data into the ordering system.
Safely operate the delivery vehicle.
Receive and process returned stock.
Complete logs and documentation.
Break down boxes, stock accessories, and organize inventory as directed.
Interact with and assist customers during deliveries and at will call.
Help maintain the appearance of the branch, including cleaning the warehouse and counter area.
Perform other assigned job tasks.
