AM Driver/Warehouse Associate - Plattsburgh, NY
About The Position
Green Mountain Electric Supply is hiring a full-time Driver/Warehouse Associate for its Plattsburgh, New York branch. The role combines driving and warehouse duties. Associates drive a truck or automobile along an established route to deliver electrical supplies and assist with daily warehouse tasks, including picking, checking and verifying orders, loading trucks, and putting stock away. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The role requires the ability to meet the stated lifting and vision demands and to obtain and maintain DOT certification.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT certification.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Drive a truck or automobile over an established route to deliver electrical supplies.
- Pick, check, and verify orders.
- Load trucks.
- Put stock away.
