About The Position

Coke Florida is hiring a Driver Merchandiser based out of its Palm Beach location. The role delivers and/or unloads beverage products to customer locations on designated routes and stocks products on shelves, displays, and in coolers. The stated schedule is a 4x10 shift, working from 4 AM until finish.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must have a valid Commercial Class A driver's license.
Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three years; driving records, including minor moving violations, are evaluated according to Coca-Cola Beverages' guidelines to determine eligibility.
At least one year of general work experience is required.
Ability to operate a hand truck and powered industrial equipment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial truck certification.
Familiarity with DOT regulations.
Must pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card.
Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
Ability to lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance.
Ability to push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching above the head, at the waist, and below the knees, and bending at the knees.
Ability to push and pull manual transport equipment, such as a pallet jack or hand truck, containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
Ability to repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods to complete job activities.
Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print.
Ability to stand for at least eight hours during the workday, up to 10 hours.
Ability to walk for at least four hours during the workday.
Ability to use an audio headset to listen to directions in English.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One or more years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Local delivery experience preferred.
Customer service and cash-handling experience preferred.
Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience is a plus.
HazMat endorsement may be required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Drive and deliver pre-ordered products to assigned accounts, and rotate and stock products.
Check the accuracy and stability of the load.
Deliver products to customers.
Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
Invoice customers and collect monies due.
Pick up company property and secure company assets.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Settle all accounts daily.
Use smartphone technology to handle customer orders and invoicing.
Use technology for Electronic Logging Systems and fleet management.
Comply with routing software guidance.
