About The Position
The Driver Merchandiser drives and delivers pre-ordered products to assigned customer accounts, while rotating and stocking products. The role is with Chesterman Company, an independent Coca-Cola bottler based in Sioux City, Iowa, that supplies beverages from distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to operate a two- or four-wheel dolly.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and ability to meet all DOT physical requirements.
- Valid Class A CDL and a driving record that meets MVR policy guidelines.
- Communication, dexterity, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English to communicate with customers, coworkers, and a supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Check the accuracy and stability of the load.
- Deliver products to customers.
- Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
- Invoice customers and collect monies due.
- Pick up company property.
- Secure company assets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Settle all accounts daily.
- React productively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
