About The Position

The Driver Merchandiser at Heartland Coca-Cola is responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered products to assigned accounts on specified routes. The role includes merchandising, displaying, and rotating products according to company standards, as well as providing customer service and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. The position has a start time between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday. The hourly pay is $25.00. A pre-employment background check is required.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of work experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record within MVR guidelines.
CDL must cover both automatic and manual vehicles.
Illinois residents must have a CDL issued by the state of Illinois.
Ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Local delivery experience preferred.
Prior experience using a pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers on assigned routes.
Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
Pick up company property from customer locations and collect returns.
Use computer technology to create customer invoices, collect money due, and settle all customer accounts daily.
Provide excellent customer service through communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow-up.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures, including DOT regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
