About The Position

The Driver Merchandiser at Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company drives and delivers pre-ordered products to assigned customer accounts on specified routes. The role includes merchandising, displaying, and rotating products according to company standards, collecting returns, and picking up company property from customer locations. The position uses computer technology to create invoices, collect payments, and settle customer accounts daily. It also requires providing strong customer service, resolving issues and following up appropriately, complying with regulatory and company policies—including DOT regulations—and collaborating with other departments to support customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of work experience.
Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record within MVR guidelines; the CDL must cover both automatic and manual vehicles.
Illinois residents must have a CDL issued by the state of Illinois.
Ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire.
Pre-employment background check is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Local delivery experience preferred.
Prior experience using a pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities
