About The Position

Blair Logistics, a PS Logistics Company, is seeking a Driver Manager to manage the daily activity of its driver personnel. The role assigns work to drivers across the country using McLeod operating software and directs daily driver activities to designated territories or dedicated operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and business objectives. The Driver Manager supports driver safety, productivity, and on-time customer deliveries, and assists drivers with over-the-road issues and required documentation.

Requirements

• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or 1–3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management.
• Proficiency with truck dispatch software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Flatbed experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners.
• Use McLeod operating software to assign work to drivers across the country.
• Direct drivers’ daily activities to designated territories or dedicated operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and business objectives.
• Guide drivers on compliance with applicable local, state, and federal trucking statutes.
• Help ensure drivers are safe and productive and deliver to customers on time.
• Counsel drivers and assist them with over-the-road issues.
• Assist drivers in keeping important documents current, including driver’s licenses, random drug tests, and physicals.
