About The Position

Blair Logistics, a PS Logistics Company, is seeking a Driver Manager to manage the daily activities of driver personnel. The role directs drivers assigned to designated territories or dedicated operations, using McLeod operating software to assign work and coordinating ETAs with load planners. The Driver Manager supports drivers with over-the-road issues, promotes safe and productive operations, and helps ensure on-time customer deliveries and compliance with trucking regulations and company policies. The position is salaried; career progression is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or 1–3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management.
• Proficient experience with truck dispatch software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Flatbed experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners.
• Use McLeod operating software to assign work to drivers across the country.
• Direct drivers’ daily activities in designated territories or dedicated operations according to company policies, procedures, and business objectives.
• Guide drivers on complying with applicable local, state, and federal trucking statutes.
• Help ensure drivers are safe and productive and deliver on time to customers.
• Counsel drivers and assist them with over-the-road issues.
• Help drivers keep important documents up to date, including driver’s licenses, random drug tests, and physicals.
