About The Position
Cowan is seeking a Driver Manager in Lake City to ensure successful execution of customer freight delivery through effective driver management. The Driver Manager serves as a link between the business, drivers, and customers.
Requirements

- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external teams.

- Bachelor's degree or two years of equivalent work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Balance the needs of customers, drivers, and the business.
- Provide continuous, structured, and proactive performance management and coaching to drivers.
- Manage driver payroll and home time.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention and drive business.
