About The Position
Driver Helpers support local delivery routes within an assigned territory, working with drivers to deliver products safely and efficiently to customers. The role involves helping unload, stock, and rotate products, collecting returns or damaged items, and communicating with drivers, sales representatives, and store personnel.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to use standard handheld computer devices.
- Ability to regularly lift and move cases weighing 20–30 lbs., and occasionally up to 160 lbs. to waist height.
- Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle in a range of weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with product delivery in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Unload product from the trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Stock cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
- Rotate product according to company standards.
- Collect empty keg shells, damaged goods, or mis-ordered product.
- Communicate clearly with delivery drivers, sales reps, and store personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
