About The Position

I Supply Company is hiring a full-time Driver Helper to help deliver products to a wide variety of customers. Driver Helpers deliver products on assigned routes, unload trailers by hand using a two-wheel dolly, and bring products down a ramp into customer facilities. They also scan products, monitor trailer compartment temperatures, support customer service, complete paperwork, collect payments for selected accounts, and adjust equipment to maintain legal weight distribution. The role requires availability for overnight routes, which generally last 10–36 hours, and some weekend work. The position involves extensive physical work in varied weather and temperatures, including walking, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, driving, and moving a loaded dolly down a ramp. Employees may also walk long distances within a warehouse and work in an environment with noise, dust, odors, and fluctuating temperatures. Physical duties may be required over an 8–16-hour period.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred; GED accepted.
Ability to read and complete various forms and records as required.
Ability to work weekends and travel on overnight routes.
Ability to conduct oneself appropriately in a business manner with customers, the general public, and coworkers under all conditions.
Ability to perform physical work in varied weather conditions, from very warm to very cold temperatures.
Ability to walk long distances within a warehouse when required.
Ability to walk, lift up to 75 pounds, bend, reach, twist, drive, and move a loaded 250–500-pound dolly down a 20-foot ramp and into a customer location.
Ability to perform physical requirements over an 8–16-hour period.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers on assigned routes.
Unload trailers by hand using a two-wheel dolly and move products down a ramp into customer facilities.
Scan products.
Maintain refrigeration controls and monitor temperatures in the trailer’s freezer, cooler, and dry compartments.
Provide customer service, including writing credits, resolving problems, delivering orders quickly and on time, and placing products in the proper area undamaged.
Communicate customer service issues quickly, clearly, and precisely between I Supply and its clients.
Complete required forms legibly and on time.
Collect payment on deliveries for selected accounts.
Change or adjust equipment to ensure legal weight distribution.
Understand, embrace, and encourage fulfillment of the company Mission Statement with associates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
