About The Position
Waste Connections is seeking a Driver Helper to work at its hauling site in Johnson City, Texas. The role involves working on the back of a garbage truck, picking up garbage and loading it into the truck. This is a physically demanding outdoor position in all weather conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 4:00 a.m. start time and a 10-hour shift.
Requirements
- Ability to stand outside throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
Responsibilities
- Pick up garbage and load it into the back of a garbage truck while working on the back of the truck.
