About The Position

The Driver Entry Level 2 transports crude oil from well leases to company injection points and performs related measurement, testing, recordkeeping, equipment upkeep, and safety duties. The position requires shift work, including weekends and holidays, and may involve active participation in emergency response activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Math aptitude and good communication skills.
Valid CDL license with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
24-hour Hazwoper training.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of commercial driving experience, preferably crude oil tanker driving experience.

Responsibilities

Accurately gauge crude oil tanks to determine quantity.
Test crude oil for quality (BS & W).
Transport crude oil safely and efficiently from well leases to company injection points.
Accurately record information on run/receipt tickets.
Maintain a correct driver’s log book.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities, including pumps, pump shafts, and packing.
Maintain the upkeep and security of equipment and facilities.
Take initiative to improve working procedures and conditions.
Be willing to cross-train in all other departments.
Maintain safe working habits and use and maintain available safety equipment.
Comply with applicable rules and regulations, including safe driving practices, accurate logkeeping, hours-of-duty requirements, and company alcohol and substance abuse policies.
Be prepared to participate actively in emergency response activities.
Communicate effectively with the general public, governmental representatives, and producer representatives.
Work shifts, including holidays and weekends.
