Drive a dry van fleet as a new CDL holder, with paid mentor training and weekly earnings after training. During 4 to 6 weeks of training, ride with a mentor and earn $650 per week. For the first 3 months driving solo, receive a $1,000 weekly guarantee. Once running, drivers average $1,200 to $1,800 per week. Routes cover freight anywhere from Denver east, excluding the Northeast, with approximately 1,800 to 2,900 miles per week. Drivers choose how hard to push, handle a mix of drop-and-hook and live loads, and receive $15 for every extra stop. Home time is every two weeks. Some winter routes go north and provide experience with cold-weather driving. Trucks are late model, with automatic or 10-speed transmissions. Orientation pays $300, with lodging and bus fare covered. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available after 30 days, along with a 401(k), stock purchase program, free online college for the driver and one dependent, and pets and riders after training.
