Driver Companion
About The Position
We are currently hiring casual Driver Companions at $18.00/hour (plus $0.70/km) in Peel region (Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke). In this role, you will help clients by driving them to complete errands and appointments. Requirements
- Valid G license with access to a vehicle
- Clear driver’s abstract
- Class 07 Rider required as a condition of employment
- Compassionate with a passion for helping others
- Two Step TB Test (within 1 year)
Responsibilities
- Drive the client to various locations as required
- Provide socialization, conversation and emotional reassurances
- Assist with groceries and parcels and help clients in and out of the vehicle
- Listen, observe and communicate and concerns/changes in the client’s physical, emotional and or environmental conditions to Spectrum management
