About The Position

The Driver Check-in Distribution Clerk processes end-of-day activity for drivers returning to the warehouse. The role handles product returns, verifies return codes with drivers, reviews reshipments, and coordinates with Inventory Control to resolve discrepancies. It also includes data entry, report generation, and other administrative duties. The position requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies. Work takes place in a warehouse environment and may include extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, including creating pivot tables, developing charts, and using complex formulas.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High-level attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Process product returns and classify them for putaway.
Review product returns with drivers to ensure the correct return code is used.
Use AS400 to access information and Velocitor Middleware.
Determine whether entire orders are being reshipped.
Update management on issues discovered with driver paperwork or the returns process.
Coordinate with Inventory Control to address questions about discrepancies or errors.
Enter data and generate reports using Excel and Word.
Perform various administrative duties and quickly learn new PC applications.
Maintain confidentiality of SGWS business and comply with company rules and regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
