About The Position

The Driver Check-in Distribution Clerk processes end-of-day activity for drivers returning to the warehouse. The role handles product returns, verifies return documentation and codes, investigates order reshipments, and coordinates with management and Inventory Control on issues and discrepancies. It also involves computer-based data entry, report generation, and other administrative duties.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, including creating pivot tables, developing charts, and using complex formulas.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High-level attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Process product returns and classify them for putaway.
Review product returns with drivers to ensure the correct return code is used.
Use AS400 to access information and Velocitor Middleware.
Determine whether entire orders are being reshipped.
Update management about issues found with driver paperwork or the returns process.
Coordinate with Inventory Control to address questions about discrepancies or errors.
Perform data entry and generate reports using Excel and Word; handle various administrative duties and learn new PC applications quickly.
Maintain confidentiality of SGWS business and comply with company rules and regulations in the employee manual.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
