About The Position
All Metals is seeking experienced CDL drivers to join its team in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Drivers operate day cabs and are home every night while hauling steel products. The position pays $23 per hour during training and $25 per hour after training. The work requires physical activity, including securing loads and handling medium workloads.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to handle the physical aspects of load securement.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Responsibilities
- Drive a day cab while hauling steel products.
- Bend, lift, strap, and secure loads.
- Perform physical tasks that may involve standing or sitting, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, handling objects, communicating, seeing, pushing or pulling, reaching, and repetitive motion.
