About The Position

The CDL Driver represents Lansing to customers and provides outstanding customer service while dividing time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse. Drivers use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries and interact with customers and crews at job sites. They help keep the warehouse clean and orderly and may also perform other duties such as cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales. The job is described as home every night. A typical day begins around 7:00 a.m. (sometimes earlier) and ends around 4:30 p.m.; hours may vary by location, and weekend work is generally not expected.

Requirements

• A CDL B or CDL A license.
• A clean driving record.
• Moffett forklift experience.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus and contribute as a member of a team.
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

• Experience with building products is helpful.
