About The Position

Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is seeking a customer-oriented CDL Driver to deliver electrical supplies, materials, and parts safely, efficiently, and courteously. The role also assists with general warehouse duties. Drivers deliver products of varying sizes to different sites, following delivery procedures and documentation requirements, and help maintain accurate, safe, and orderly warehouse operations.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Be able to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
Be able to unload materials at customer sites, including heavy and bulky items.
Be willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power tools, as well as use push carts and rolling ladders.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Be able to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse, with or without accommodation.
Have basic problem-solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Drive company trucks carefully and comply with traffic laws, legal speed limits, and safety protocols.
Deliver products to different sites while following the driver manifest and required documentation procedures.
Provide associates with possible solutions or appropriate contact information when problems arise, and report customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
Load and unload materials safely, efficiently, and accurately, using proper body mechanics and equipment such as a forklift.
Receive and check in deliveries, pickups, and returns to verify product quality and quantity.
Cut wire, rod, or strut using appropriate equipment safely.
Sweep floors, remove trash, and keep the warehouse tidy and safe.
Pick, pack, and ship orders ranging from small boxes to pallets.
Record losses of damaged or defective materials.
