About The Position

Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver to split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse. Drivers use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries, interact with customers and crews at job sites, and represent Lansing by providing outstanding customer service. The position also includes keeping the warehouse clean and orderly and may involve other tasks such as cycle counts, inventory, and inside sales. The day usually begins around 7:00 AM, sometimes earlier, and ends at approximately 4:30 PM. Hours may vary by location. Drivers are home every night, and weekend work is generally not expected.

Requirements

• Hold a CDL B or CDL A license.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Have Moffett forklift experience.
• Be able to work independently with efficiency and focus and contribute as part of a team.
• Be able and willing to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Have strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• Have at least one year of driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with building products.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.
