About The Position

Natures Image is looking for a capable Driver & Crew Member to join our growing operations team. If you have a passion for helping the environment, this is the place for you! The Driver & Crew Member reports to the Crew Foreman and will perform a wide range of physically demanding tasks. The Driver & Crew Member must have a valid driver's license and maintain an excellent driving record. Additionally, the position requires use of physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance to complete job tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information and follow all safety guidelines is necessary to perform all tasks.

Requirements

E-Verify, Background check, drug screen, & physical
Valid California driver's license and maintain excellent driving record
Know and understand current driving regulations and observe all safety laws and regulations.
Abide by and all safety and emergency procedures. Act quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
Ability to work in a variety of roles.
Work in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial landscaping or construction preferred.
Experience in operating power equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspects truck before and after trips, submit inspection reports
Safe operation of all company driven equipment.
Report mechanical failures or breakdowns to Foreman immediately.
Follow all safety and corporate policies as outlined by the company
To perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include but not limited to digging trenches, clearing weeds, cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash.
General duties performed include landscaping, irrigation, maintenance, hydroseeding, vegetation removal and installations.
Use of hand tools and small equipment when required.
Use of line trimmer, hedger, weedwhacker, backpack sprayer, chainsaw, and other equipment when required.
Responsible for safe, efficient and quality completion of tasks assigned by supervisor.
Wears personal protective equipment at all times and follows all safety procedures at all times.
Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
Reports equipment in need of repair to supervisor.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
