About The Position

Natures Image is looking for a capable Driver & Crew Member to join our growing operations team. If you have a passion for helping the environment, this is the place for you! The Driver & Crew Member reports to the Crew Foreman and will perform a wide range of physically demanding tasks. The Driver & Crew Member must have a valid driver's license and maintain an excellent driving record. Additionally, the position requires use of physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance to complete job tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information and follow all safety guidelines is necessary to perform all tasks.

Requirements

  • E-Verify, Background check, drug screen, & physical
  • Valid California driver's license and maintain excellent driving record
  • Know and understand current driving regulations and observe all safety laws and regulations.
  • Abide by and all safety and emergency procedures. Act quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
  • Ability to work in a variety of roles.
  • Work in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial landscaping or construction preferred.
  • Experience in operating power equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects truck before and after trips, submit inspection reports
  • Safe operation of all company driven equipment.
  • Report mechanical failures or breakdowns to Foreman immediately.
  • Follow all safety and corporate policies as outlined by the company
  • To perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include but not limited to digging trenches, clearing weeds, cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash.
  • General duties performed include landscaping, irrigation, maintenance, hydroseeding, vegetation removal and installations.
  • Use of hand tools and small equipment when required.
  • Use of line trimmer, hedger, weedwhacker, backpack sprayer, chainsaw, and other equipment when required.
  • Responsible for safe, efficient and quality completion of tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Wears personal protective equipment at all times and follows all safety procedures at all times.
  • Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
  • Reports equipment in need of repair to supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
