About The Position

Grant's Pizza House is hiring a dependable crew member and delivery driver for evening work at its Rochester, Michigan pizzeria. The role combines local deliveries with kitchen and restaurant duties. Deliveries are in Rochester and surrounding neighborhoods. Drivers verify orders, maintain food temperature, and hand orders directly to guests. Between deliveries, employees help with kitchen operations and other tasks, including food preparation, answering phones, curbside pickups, making salads, working the pizza line, folding boxes, washing dishes, and closing the kitchen. The employer describes the work as suitable for someone who is comfortable taking on a variety of tasks in a restaurant or small operation.

The pizzeria opens at 4 p.m. and closes by 10 p.m. at the latest, or 9 p.m. on weeknights. Friday attendance is required, along with at least one other weekend evening. Requirements

• Valid driver's license held for at least two years.
• Own vehicle and auto insurance.
• Relatively clean driving record.
• Smartphone.
• Reliable and able to work Friday evenings and at least one other weekend evening.

• Restaurant, kitchen, or counter experience is preferred.
• Experience in a restaurant or smaller operation where employees take on a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verify delivery orders, keep food at the appropriate temperature, and hand orders to guests in person.
• Make local deliveries in Rochester and surrounding neighborhoods.
• Help push out orders during busy periods and handle food preparation after the restaurant opens.
• Answer phones and handle curbside pickups when deliveries are slow.
• Make salads, work the pizza line, fold boxes, wash dishes, and help close the kitchen.
• Remain useful in the kitchen between deliveries rather than clocking out or waiting for the next delivery.
