Driver Ambassador - Electric Shuttle (Trenton)
About The Position
Circuit is a mobility company that operates electric shuttles to reduce congestion and its effects on the environment and quality of life, connect riders to mass transit, and make short trips easier. The Driver Ambassador drives electric shuttles in a mapped service area and represents the community by sharing local information and helping passengers enjoy their rides. The role provides safe transportation for locals and visitors, delivers excellent customer service, and maintains vehicle cleanliness through pre- and post-trip inspections. Drivers operate a range of electric vehicles, including GEMS, sedans, and vans; some vehicles may not have power steering. The position requires afternoon and weekend availability and work in varying weather conditions, including summer and winter. Shifts are offered on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage. Compensation is an hourly base rate of $20.00 plus tips.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of safe driving experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Passion for customer service and working with the public.
- Enthusiasm for showcasing the community.
- Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications.
- Afternoon and weekend availability.
- Comfort working in varying weather conditions, including summer and winter.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to comply with vehicle weight and height requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

- A chauffeur’s license or experience driving commercially.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation in the community so locals and visitors can reach their destinations safely.
- Welcome passengers and create an enjoyable ride experience.
- Provide safe, efficient, and enjoyable rides while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Drive electric vehicles including GEMS, sedans, and vans, some of which may not have power steering.
- Perform pre- and post-vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Share community information, local hotspots, and hidden gems with passengers.
