Driver Ambassador- Electric Shuttle (Costa Mesa)
About The Position
Circuit is seeking a Driver Ambassador to operate electric shuttles within a mapped service area in Costa Mesa. The role combines safe driving with community engagement: welcoming passengers, sharing local information, and helping locals and visitors reach their destinations. Drivers operate vehicles including GEMS, sedans, and vans, some of which may not have power steering, and keep vehicles clean through pre- and post-trip inspections. Schedules listed include a set schedule from Monday through Thursday and Sunday, with Friday and Saturday off, as well as a floater position providing on-call or as-needed coverage for full or partial shifts of 4 to 8 hours during operating hours. Circuit works with cities and advertising partners to provide electric shuttle service intended to reduce congestion, support connections to mass transit, and offer accessible, sustainable transportation. Requirements
- At least 3 years of safe driving experience and a valid driver's license.
- Passion for customer service and working with the public.
- Enthusiasm for showcasing the community.
- Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications.
- Comfort working in different weather conditions, including summer and winter months.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must abide by vehicle weight and height requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
Nice To Haves
- A chauffeur's license or commercial driving experience.
- Ability or willingness to work nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation for locals and tourists around the community.

- Deliver safe, efficient, and engaging rides while maintaining excellent customer service.

- Perform pre- and post-vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Share community information, local hotspots, and points of interest with passengers.
