About The Position

Freebee is an electric vehicle transportation company providing free, comfortable transportation in communities across Florida and North Carolina. The company describes itself as an eco-friendly, hospitality-focused organization whose drivers use company electric vehicles, so drivers do not pay for gas or insurance and do not add mileage to their own vehicles.

Freebee is seeking drivers who prioritize safety, enjoy helping others, and want to contribute to the communities the company serves. Drivers provide transportation and customer service while assisting passengers such as seniors, people with disabilities, tourists, and expectant mothers. They also represent Freebee and its partner companies as ambassadors.

Drivers report to a Freebee hub, typically a municipal garage; use the Freebee app; complete a vehicle checklist; clean and inspect the vehicle; and notify management of any issues. They then work in assigned zones, using navigation apps to plan routes and communicating with the team as needed. At the end of the day, drivers return the vehicle to the garage, clean it, and plug it into a charging station. Driver Support is available by phone.

Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Must be able to drive a commercial vehicle.
• Must have a passion for helping others.
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license.
• Must have at least 3 years of licensed driving experience in the United States.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to multitask and navigate a driver app.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation within the communities served while delivering a high level of customer service.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and safe for passengers each day.
• Use navigation apps to determine efficient routes and help multiple passengers reach their destinations on time.
• Represent Freebee and partner companies as an ambassador, including handing out samples and attending advertising events.
• Communicate with management and team members about occurrences while driving in the community.
• Report to a Freebee hub and use the Freebee app to begin the workday.
• Complete vehicle checklists and alert management to vehicle issues.
• Clean the vehicle interior and communicate readiness to the team through the designated group chat.
• Drive in assigned zones and contact Driver Support when assistance is needed.
• Return the vehicle to the Freebee garage, clean it, and plug it into a charging station at the end of the day.
• Help seniors and people with disabilities enter and exit vehicles, advise tourists, and provide considerate service to expectant mothers.
