About The Position

The Draftsman is responsible for being an organized, service and detail oriented individual responsible for creating and updating technical drawings using company tools. The position communicates and collaborates with engineers and other designated team members to ensure drawings meet project specifications.

Requirements

• Diploma from an accredited trade school or university
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in related mechanical and or electrical Field.
• Experience with engineering software
• Traditional drafting methods
• Strong math skills
• Attention to detail are required skills.
• Able to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
• Proven organization and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Dependable and Customer Service (Internal and External) focused.

Responsibilities

• As assigned, create and update technical drawings for operations and customers based on the recommendations, given specifications and calculations.
• Update Customer files with appropriate information/updates as per company policy.
• Communicate with operations and management to ensure work meets project requirements.
• Conduct all internal and external communication in a highly customer service-oriented manner.
• Accountable for maintaining status of projects and appropriate individuals with this information.
• Work may require flexible hours, weekends, holidays and night work to coordinate and/or communicate updates on projects.
• All work and decisions shall be conducted in strict compliance of all regulatory law.
• Observe all safety rules and Best Practices; Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
